Tonya E. is a seasoned transit leader with extensive experience in operations management, training, and community relations within the public transportation sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Operations - Training at the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority since June 2022, Tonya has designed and implemented innovative training initiatives to meet the evolving needs of the workforce. Previous roles include Manager of Operations - Training and Director of Mass Transit at the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners, as well as positions within ECAT, including Interim General Manager and Director of Marketing and Community Relations. Tonya holds a degree in Marketing from the University of West Florida.
