Kayla Cintron Ma, Lac, Ncc

Kayla Cintron, MA, LAC, NCC, is a dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor at New Pathway Counseling since May 2021, where group and individual counseling sessions are conducted for adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Previously, Kayla served as a Direct Care Counselor at the Mental Health Clinic of Passaic from December 2018 to March 2020, facilitating groups for children aged 6-11 and managing student behaviors. Additional experience includes teaching dance at Hawthorne School of Dance from September 2014 to March 2020, where instruction was provided in various dance styles to young girls, and working as a Floater at The Learning Experience between May 2016 and May 2018, assisting with infants and monitoring their behavior. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling/Addictions Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from Montclair State University.
