Paula Phillips

M. Paula Phillips currently serves as the Director of Recruitment and Political Talent at the New Politics Leadership Academy, a role held since April 2024, where responsibilities include overseeing recruitment initiatives for political talent. Previously, M. Paula Phillips was the Director of Equity Operations at Milwaukee County, focusing on departmental budgeting and performance management, and served as the Interim Chief Equity Officer, leading efforts to promote racial equity in the county. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Director of Race and Gender Equity at YWCA Southeast Wisconsin and School Board Director for Milwaukee Public Schools. M. Paula Phillips has also contributed to Biden for President as the Wisconsin Women's Outreach Director and held various roles in non-profit and educational organizations. M. Paula Phillips holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and additional credentials from Harvard Business School and Milwaukee Area Technical College.
