Mark White is an experienced software designer with a strong background in firmware development and application design. Currently serving as Principal Software Designer at New Potato Technologies since 2006, Mark specializes in developing firmware for in-house hardware and creating smartphone applications across various platforms, including iPhone, Android, and Blackberry. Prior to this role, Mark worked as a Software Engineer at C-Phone - Motion Media - Scotty Technologies from 1997 to 2006, focusing on firmware development for video conferencing products in medical, security, and business sectors, as well as developing Windows applications for integration. Mark's career began at IBM from 1994 to 1997 as an Associate Programmer, where responsibilities included system integration and functional verification testing of DSP products, along with Windows MCI application and driver development. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from East Carolina University, attained in 1992.
