Deborah Smolover

Deborah Smolover is a seasoned professional in public policy and management, currently serving as Managing Partner at New Profit Inc. since January 2014 and Executive Director of America Forward since 2011. Prior experience includes Vice President of Public Policy at Turnaround for Children from 2009 to 2012 and Director of Public Policy at the Yale Child Study Center/National Center for Children Exposed to Violence from 2003 to 2011. Additionally, Deborah held notable positions at the U.S. Department of Justice from 1997 to 2001, including Associate Deputy Attorney General and Counsel to Deputy Attorney General Eric H. Holder, Jr. Deborah holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Government from Harvard University.
