Andy Wetzel

Andy Wetzel is an experienced sales and engineering professional with a diverse background in software analytics and product management. Currently serving as the Director of New Product Sales at New Relic, Inc. since September 2014, Andy has played a pivotal role in helping organizations leverage software data. Previously held various leadership positions at OpTier, including VP of APM SaaS, where efforts were focused on transitioning legacy solutions to the cloud and developing market strategies. Additional roles at HP Software and Mercury Interactive involved presales management and team leadership across multiple regions. Andy began a career in engineering at Pratt & Whitney, gaining experience in PLC programming and manufacturing engineering after earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University.
