Severin Zugmayer

Severin Zugmayer is an accomplished founder and investor with extensive experience in the tech and tourism industries. Currently serving as the Founder of New Renaissance Ventures since October 2023, Zugmayer focuses on investing in tech founders within the Cultural and Creative Industries, primarily in Europe with pre-seed and seed investments ranging from 100-300k euros. As Co-Founder of Tourilla Tours since January 2022, Zugmayer specializes in creating tailor-made safari and adventure tours in Uganda. Previously, from December 2017 to May 2023, Zugmayer held the position of Investor and Head of Fundraising at Speedinvest, where significant fundraising campaigns totaling EUR 750m were executed. Additionally, Zugmayer has served as a board member and observer for several companies, including Flaviar, Inkitt, and GoStudent. Early career experiences include roles at Google and Red Bull, alongside an academic background from WU Vienna and BI Norwegian Business School.
