Erica L. Whiting

Erica L. Whiting, Psy.D., serves as the REACH Clinical Director at New River Valley Community Services, where responsibilities include chairing the Ethics Committee and contributing as a subject matter expert for various DBHDS initiatives. With extensive experience in program development, Erica has focused on expanding crisis services for children and adolescents facing developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. Erica has also provided education and training on multiple mental health topics and has taught both graduate and undergraduate psychology courses at Radford University. In addition, Erica is involved as a content developer and EPPP coach at Triad Behavioral Health and has previous clinical experience through various practicums. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Psychology in Counseling Psychology and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis, along with master's and bachelor's degrees in related fields.
