Zafirah Ahmed

Zafirah Ahmed is a dedicated educator and photographer with extensive experience in the arts. Currently serving as a Middle and Upper School Art Teacher at New Roads School since August 2021, Zafirah previously held positions as an Art Teacher at Massillon City Schools and South Bronx Classical Charter School, where responsibilities included curriculum design and delivering engaging art lessons. Zafirah has also worked as a substitute teacher specializing in visual art and has experience as a photographer with a portfolio available online. With a degree in Studio Art from Claremont Graduate University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Teacher Education from The University of Akron, Zafirah combines educational expertise with creative talents across various roles, including styling and social media management.
