Laura Hampton

Laura Hampton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in journalism and media engagement. Currently serving as the Head of Engagement and Partnerships at WildEast since June 2021, Laura also contributes as a freelance journalist for prestigious outlets such as New Scientist, Red Bull, Sidetracked, and Yachting World. With a background in sailing as a Mate on Skip Novak's expedition yacht and a Yachtmaster certification, Laura brings a unique perspective to their reporting, particularly highlighted by coverage of the Montane Yukon Arctic Ultra for Red Bull. Previous roles include a Broadcast Journalist position at the BBC and public relations with Grayling, supported by academic credentials in Politics and Media and Broadcast Journalism from the University of Westminster.
