Laura Hernandez-Flores has a diverse work experience with various roles in the education sector. Laura began their career as an Educator at Fullerton College in 2002 and later joined Ontario-Montclair School District as a Teacher from 2003 to 2008.

In 2006, they were a Student at the University of Southern California, where they pursued their higher education until 2009. Laura then served as a Faculty Advisor at Claremont Graduate University from 2007 to 2008.

Laura Hernandez-Flores began their education at UCLA in 1993 and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science. In 1999, they attended Stanford University, though their degree information is unspecified. From 2000 to 2003, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education at Loyola Marymount University. Finally, they attended the University of Southern California from 2006 to 2009, earning an Ed.D. degree in Educational Leadership/Teacher Education.
