Sabrina Plassman has an extensive work experience spanning several industries. Sabrina started their career as an intern at PGA TOUR in 2003 and later interned at Vision Sports & Entertainment Partners in 2004. In 2005, they joined Teach for America as a teacher, a role they held until 2007.
From 2008 to 2010, Sabrina worked as the Managing Director of District Strategy at Teach For America Chicago. Following that, they joined KIPP Chicago as the Director of Data Analytics from 2010 to 2011.
Sabrina then worked at Insight Education Group, Inc. as a Consultant from 2011 to 2012, and later as a Partnership Manager from 2012 to 2013. In this role, they collaborated with districts to design and implement instructional initiatives, supported analytics needs, and delivered professional development.
From 2013 to 2020, Sabrina was at TNTP, initially serving as a Project Director from 2013 to 2016, and later as a Partner from 2016 to 2020.
Sabrina is currently working at New Teacher Center, starting as the Vice President of Program and Partnerships from 2020 to 2022. Sabrina then became the Senior Vice President of Program and Partnerships from 2022 to 2023, and is presently the Acting Chief Operating Officer from 2023 onwards.
Sabrina Plassman's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and English from Boston College, which they earned from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Oshkosh West High School from 1997 to 2001. Sabrina then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies from Stanford University from 2007 to 2008. Later, they attended Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management, where they obtained an MBA in Management and Organization and Social Entrepreneurship from 2010 to 2012.
