Mordecai (Mordy) Walfish is an accomplished nonprofit executive with extensive experience in leadership and operations. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Leading Edge, a national nonprofit, Walfish drives initiatives in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Previous roles include Acting CEO during parental leaves and Deputy Director, where Walfish contributed to the organization’s growth into an independent entity. Walfish is also involved in education as Adjunct Faculty at New Ventures West and Teaching Faculty at Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Repair the World, Berman Jewish Policy Archive at NYU Wagner, and Atlantic Jewish Council. Walfish holds multiple degrees, including an MPA in Nonprofit Management from New York University.
