Abena Achampong

Abena Achampong is an experienced Staff Nurse with a comprehensive background in cardiology and cardiac surgery, currently working at Agency Staff Nurse since June 2019 and Hammersmith Hospital since August 2014. Abena's expertise includes the management of patients undergoing various cardiac investigations, such as angiograms, PCI, and the insertion of pacemakers and ICDs, as well as pre and post-surgical care. Previous roles include Research Nurse in Cardiothoracic Surgery at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Band 6 Nurse at The Heart Hospital, where skills in patient care and support during cardiological procedures were developed.
