Edgar Rodriguez is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Vice President of School Support at New Visions for Public Schools since July 2021. Previously, Edgar held various roles within the NYC Department of Education from September 2000 to July 2021, including Superintendent of Charter Schools, Principal of the Academy for Careers in Television and Film, and Founding Assistant Principal of the same institution. Edgar participated in the Chancellor's Fellowship, a prestigious leadership development program, and served as a Model Principal demonstrating impactful student achievement growth. Edgar's academic credentials include an expected Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Fordham University, an Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership from The College of Saint Rose, a Master of Arts in Secondary Mathematics Education from Hunter College, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Utah.
