Russell West

Russell West has a diverse work experience ranging from education to law. Russell worked at New Visions for Public Schools, starting in 2011, where they held various roles including Director of Curriculum & Instruction, Counsel, Deputy Director of Instruction, and Mathematics Instructional Specialist. Prior to that, they worked at Hillcrest High School as a Teacher & SLC Director from 2004 to 2011. Russell also has experience in the legal field, having worked as a Special Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, they worked at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions as a Center Director, Consultant, Trainer, and Teacher from 1995 to 2002. Russell started their career in education as a Composition Instructor at the University of Nevada Reno in 1992, and later served as an Admissions Officer and Scholarship Coordinator at the University of Southern California from 1988 to 1990.
