Robin Placzek has extensive experience in education within the Mead School District. Robin began their career with the district in 2009 as an Elementary School Teacher, a role they held for five years. From 2014 to 2018, they served as an Instructional Curricular Support Teacher.
In 2019, they transitioned into the role of Learning Coordinator until June 2020 when they became the Coordinator of State and Federal Programs. In September 2020, they took on the additional responsibility of Interim School Principal. In July 2021, they were promoted to Assistant Director of State and Federal Programs. By July 2023, they advanced to the position of Director of Elementary Education.
Robin Placzek has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Studies - Coaching from the University of Minnesota, which was obtained from 1993 to 1998. From 2006 to 2008, they completed their Master of Education (MEd) in Elementary Education and Teaching at Whitworth University. Lastly, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued an Administrative Credential in Elementary and Middle School Administration/Principalship at Washington State University.
