Madalyn Schiller

Madalyn Schiller is a dedicated mental health professional currently serving as the 988 Coordinator at New Vista KY since April 2024, where responsibilities include developing training materials for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and providing supervisory support to counselors. Prior to this, Madalyn worked as a Crisis Helplines Training Specialist at CommUnity Crisis Services from December 2022 to October 2023, where efforts focused on restructuring training curricula and facilitating virtual mental health crisis intervention trainings. Madalyn also served as a Crisis Helpline Counselor, providing empathetic support to clients in crisis. Earlier experience includes a role as a Psychology Laboratory Assistant at Drake University, where Madalyn taught psychology concepts to over 100 students per semester. Madalyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Utah Tech University and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Minnesota State Community and Technical College.
