Derek Almond

Derek Almond, CPA, has extensive experience in corporate finance and accounting, currently serving as Corporate Controller at New Western since July 2022. Prior to this role, Derek was the Director of Client Accounting Relations at FirstService Residential Texas and held various controller positions at Streetlane Homes and Invitation Homes. Derek's career began as a Senior Accountant at National Reality Advisors and includes a tenure as Regional Finance Manager at Wells Fargo. Derek holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University and also attended Kilgore College.
