Ivan Rubio Heras

Ivan Rubio Heras has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Ivan is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at NEW WORK SE since September 2022. Previously, they held the position of Coordinator of Team Leaders at the same company from November 2021 to September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineering Team Lead from March 2019 to November 2021.

Before joining NEW WORK SE, Ivan worked as an Information Technology Specialist at Ivan Rubio & cia from June 2003 to January 2021. During this time, they helped companies improve productivity by implementing Agile methodologies, Extreme Programming, and DevOps practices. Ivan also taught teams to become self-organized and prepared companies for digital transformation.

From June 2016 to March 2019, Ivan served as the CPO & CTO at Suntransfers.com. Ivan also served as a Lead Developer and Backend & FrontEnd Lead during their time there. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior FullStack & Lead Engineer at Zyncro from December 2014 to August 2015.

In 2012, Ivan held the position of Frontend Lead at MYKOOTS, where they were responsible for leading frontend developments and deployment versions using Agile methodologies. From November 2011 to April 2012, they worked as the CTO at Delirium Advertising, where they investigated, analyzed, and created development architectures in PHP.

Ivan has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ASCAMM Foundation and Plastiasite from February 2009 to November 2011. Additionally, they co-founded Altasis Ingeniería Informática, where they served as the Co-Founder & CTO from January 2007 to January 2009.

In 2006, Ivan worked as a J2EE Architect at Grupo AIA, where they prepared and developed an architecture based on Spring, Hibernate, Apache Commons, and Struts for an application used in bank companies.

Throughout their various roles, Ivan has gained extensive experience in software engineering, team coordination, and implementing Agile methodologies.

Ivan Rubio Heras earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya from 2006 to 2010. Ivan also obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Software and Media Applications from IES Carles Vallbona from 2001 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Ivan has obtained multiple certifications in various programming languages and technologies from online platforms such as Udemy and Code School. Some of these certifications include Docker and Kubernetes, React JS, Scrum Master, and MongoDB for Developers.
