Rhys Williams

Rhys Williams serves as an Adjunct Professor at Lynn University College of Business and Management since January 2023. Williams co-founded New World Angels in 2003, currently holding the position of Chair Emeritus, having previously served as Chair and President. Williams holds a board member role at the Florida Venture Forum and the Harvard Club of the Palm Beaches, alongside serving as a trustee and Chairman Emeritus at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium. Recent experience includes a directorship at Go Solar Power and a consulting role for a VC-backed technology venture. Williams was the Managing Director and Associate Vice President - Research at FAU Tech Runway from April 2016 to July 2021. Williams also held the position of Appointed Director for Eastern Florida and Puerto Rico with the Harvard Alumni Association from 2018 to 2021 and was President of Tequesta Ventures, Inc. from 2003 to 2016. Williams earned an MBA in Finance and Information Technology and a JD in Commercial and International Law from the University of Florida, along with an A.B. degree from Harvard University.
