Ron Tarro

Ron Tarro is the current president at New World Angels, a position they have held since March 2019. Ron has also served as vice president investment sourcing screening and board director at New World Angels, and as an affiliate partner and strategy at Waterstone Management Group. Prior to that, they were with BroadSoft as vice president, large enterprise, hospitality, and travel industry solutions from August 2014 to August 2017. Earlier in their career, they were with SalientVoice Ventures, LLC, and SDD (Acquired By Broadsoft, Inc.) as president and CEO from January 1999 to August 2014. Ron started their career with IBM in January 1981 as a software and systems engineer, project manager, and later moved into product marketing and engineering management from January 1986 to December 1989. Ron then left IBM to join EY in January 1989 as a senior manager in their strategic advisory services group where they worked until December 1999.

Ron Tarro has a Master's degree in Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from St. John's University.
