Samuel Fried

Samuel Fried is an experienced legal and business professional currently serving as a Member of New World Angels since May 2023 and as Chair of the GlobalWorks Foundation Advisory Board since June 2022. Fried previously held influential roles, including Counselor to the Board of Directors at Bath & Body Works and Secretary & Counsel to the Board of Directors at L Brands, where also served as EVP of Law, Policy & Governance. Additional notable positions include SVP and General Counsel at Exide Technologies, Chief Legal Officer and Treasurer at Clevite Industries, and Senior Counsel and Assistant Treasurer for The Bendix Corporation. An alumnus of Boston University School of Law, Fried holds a Master of Laws in Taxation and a Doctor of Law degree, along with a Rabbinical Ordination from Central Yeshiva Jerusalem and an A.B. in History & Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
