John Howe

John Howe is an experienced leader with a distinguished background in the pet products industry and governance. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for St. Louis Children's Hospital, Heartland Industries, Inc., Nivel Parts and Manufacturing, and New World Natural Brands, John has also held notable positions as Chief Executive Officer of Compana Pet Brands from July 2001 to January 2023, where significant growth and expansion were achieved through innovation and strategic acquisitions. Previous roles include Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Spectrum Brands, Inc. and various leadership positions at Golden Harvest Products and Ralston Purina. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Rochester.
