Ashley Skinner

SVP, Institutional Culture & Inclusion at New World Symphony

Ashley Skinner is the SVP for Institutional Culture & Inclusion at New World Symphony. Prior to their current role, Ashley served as the Vice President of Human Resources for the Nashville Symphony from April 2015 to January 2020. In this role, Ashley oversaw all aspects of the HR function of the Nashville Symphony and Schermerhorn Symphony Center. From July 2012 to April 2015, Ashley was the Director of Human Resources for the Nashville Symphony. Prior to that, they served as the Human Resources Manager from August 2011 to June 2012 and as a Human Resources Generalist from September 2009 to July 2011. Ashley began their career with the Nashville Symphony as a Human Resources Coordinator from August 2007 to August 2009. Ashley also interned as a Junior Human Resources Assistant at Grant Thornton UK LLP from September 2005 to December 2005.

Ashley Skinner has a Master of Education (MEd) in Human Resources Development from Vanderbilt University. Ashley also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Rollins College. Ashley is certified from the HR Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Ashley is also certified from SHRM as a SHRM-SCP.
