Launette Woolforde

Launette Woolforde is an accomplished nursing leader with extensive experience in various high-level roles at Northwell Health since April 2007, including Deputy System Chief Nursing Officer, Vice President, and Chief Nursing Officer at Lenox Hill Hospital. In addition to current positions as a Fellow at The Health Management Academy and the American Academy of Nursing, Woolforde serves as a member of The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, and holds board memberships with the Association for Nursing Professional Development and the National League for Nursing. Woolforde's academic involvement includes serving as an Assistant Professor at the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine and being a Fellow at The New York Academy of Medicine. Educational qualifications encompass a Doctor of Education from Columbia University, a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Case Western Reserve University, and additional degrees in nursing and education.
