Mechanical Engineer 2 at New York Air Brake Corporation

Darshan Rajashekar started their work experience in 2013 as an intern at BHEL, where they received training and guest lectures. In 2014, they worked on an engineering project at SunEdison, focusing on design analysis, product design, and structural analysis. From 2017 to 2018, Darshan worked as an engineering intern at In-Depth Engineering Solutions, gaining skills in FE modeling and optimization. In 2017, they also worked as a design engineer at iScentia LLC, designing 2D drawings of medical devices. From 2018 to 2019, Darshan worked as a project engineer at EASi, supporting engineering analysis work for various product lines. Currently, Darshan is working at New York Air Brake as a mechanical engineer 2 FEA analyst, focusing on mechanical component design, CAD modeling, and analysis using ANSYS.

Darshan Rajashekar holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Global Academy Of Technology, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their educational background, Darshan Rajashekar has obtained certifications in SOLIDWORKS from Swamy Design solution in August 2014, and in Modelling and analysis using CATIA from Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India in May 2013.
