Kristen James

Kristen James has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Stylist/Barber at In Mixed Co from 2005 to 2008. Kristen was responsible for overseeing the full staffing lifecycle and managing the business operations.

In 2008, Kristen joined BNSF Railway and held multiple roles over the years. Kristen started as a Train Conductor, working safely and efficiently in six terminals and four subdivisions. Kristen then became an Interim Trainmaster, overseeing five yards and three subdivisions, implementing policies, and planning daily train and switching operations.

Kristen's next role at BNSF Railway was as a Locomotive Remote Control Operations Trainer, where they trained new hires to safely and efficiently operate locomotives using an RCO box. Kristen also served as a WOR/Toughbook Trainer, developing and instructing Toughbook classes and assisting customers in the field with issue resolution.

In their most recent role at BNSF Railway, Kristen was a Trainmaster, supervising TY&E to ensure safe operations and building relationships with regional operations. Kristen also managed communication between terminals and subdivisions and conducted monthly safety inspections and investigations.

Since 2016, Kristen has been working as a Regional Sales and Account Manager at New York Air Brake, where they are responsible for managing sales and accounts in a specific region.

Kristen James holds a Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University, which they obtained from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they attended Clark College from 2002 to 2003, studying Graphic Design and Computer Animation. Kristen also holds a Cosmetology License from Phagans School of Cosmetology, where they studied Cosmetology/Cosmetologist, General from 2003 to 2005. Kristen completed their General degree at La Center Highschool from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Kristen has a certification as a Conductor/ RCO operator, although the institution and details of its acquisition are not provided.
