Mark Storms

Mark Storms has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Mark currently holds the position of Senior Director of Agile Project Management BU Brakes at New York Air Brake, a role they began in November 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Meta-Scrum Product Ownership / Agile Practice from April 2019 to November 2022. From January 2016 to March 2019, Mark worked as the Director of Logistics, Materials, and Transportation Compliance at the same company.

Before joining New York Air Brake in 2016, Mark had a long tenure with the company starting in 1998. During this period, they held multiple roles including Purchasing Supply Chain Manager from January 2009 to January 2015, New Product Introduction Program Manager from January 2007 to January 2009, and SAP Materials Management / Purchasing Key User System Expert from January 2005 to January 2007. Additionally, they served as Commodity Team Leader Purchasing Electronics from March 2002 to December 2004, Locomotive Systems Engineer from January 2001 to February 2002, and Buyer Electronics from September 1998 to December 2000.

Mark started their career at Sherwood Medical Electronics in 1995, where they worked as an Electronics Engineering Technician until August 1998.

Mark Storms completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from SUNY Canton, which they attended from 1991 to 1994.
