Steveland Whigham

Steveland Whigham has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 1998, they held the role of Vice President and Licensed Funeral Director at Whigham Funeral Home until 2008. From 2001 to 2009, they founded and served as CEO of Juneteenth Inc. In 2008, they became a General Manager at Town Sports International until 2012. Following that, from 2012 to 2021, they worked at Equinox in various roles such as Assistant General Manager, General Manager, Complex General Manager, Area Manager, and Regional Director. Most recently, they joined the New York Athletic Club in 2022 as the Director of Athletics Fitness and Wellness.

Steveland Whigham holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Leadership and Management from New York University. Additionally, they have obtained a Certificate in Funeral Home Management and Mortuary Science from the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service. Prior to their college education, Steveland received a High School Diploma from Seton Hall Prep.
