Betsy McQuail is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at New York Blood Center. With over 28 years of experience in blood center operations, strategic planning, quality, production planning/inventory management, and information technology, Betsy is a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for planning, leading, and executing corporate strategy and direction. She oversees a $165M budget and approximately 800 employees and has direct P & L responsibility for the Operations and Manufacturing business unit including all donor marketing, recruitment, collections, laboratories, distribution, logistics, and computer applications that support Operations and Manufacturing, including eProgesa, Hemasphere, DRM (Donor Relationship Management) and BOSS (Blood Operations Support System) systems. Her responsibilities also include recovered plasma sales, contracts and relationships, oversight of process improvement and SOPs, incident reporting, and product licensure.

Betsy is a graduate of George Mason University with a B.S. in Industrial Psychology.
