Larry Luchsinger is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in hematopoietic stem cell research and cellular therapies. Currently serving as SVP and Chief Scientific Officer and Associate Member at New York Blood Center since April 2019, Larry directs research laboratories focused on developing innovative treatments for blood disorders. Previously, Larry held roles such as Vice President and Director of Research Operations at LFKRI and Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University Medical Center, where significant contributions were made towards understanding essential transcription factors in stem cell maintenance. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Boston University, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Marquette University.
