Karen Daubmann

Karen Daubmann serves as the Associate Vice President for Exhibitions and Public Engagement at The New York Botanical Garden since September 2007, having previously held the position of Director of Exhibitions and Seasonal Displays. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Horticulture at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens from May 2003 to September 2007, and as Lead Horticulturist for the Thai Garden at Olbrich Botanical Gardens from April 2002 to May 2003. Karen was a Fellow in The Longwood Graduate Program from 1999 to 2003 and completed horticulture internships at Callaway Gardens and Walt Disney World in 1998 and 1997, respectively. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Public Horticulture Administration from the University of Delaware and dual Bachelor's degrees in Landscape Architecture and Urban Horticulture from the University of Rhode Island.
