George Wolff has extensive experience in the legal field, having worked as the Executive Director for the New York City Bar Legal Referral Service starting in 2014. Prior to this role, they served as the Referral & Information Services Manager at the Oregon State Bar from 2007 to 2014. In this role, they were responsible for developing program policies, coordinating work group policies, and recommending policy and procedure revisions to the management team.
George Wolff's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from McGill University - Faculty of Arts, which they obtained from 1986 to 1990. George then pursued a Graduate Diploma in Business Management from McGill University School of Continuing Studies between 1990 and 1992. Finally, they attended Golden Gate University, School of Law from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a specialization in Litigation.

The City Bar's 150 Committees issue hundreds of reports and present hundreds of events annually. The Legal Referral Service matches vetted lawyers with clients. The City Bar Center for CLE provides continuing legal education for lawyers. The City Bar Justice Center provides pro bono legal services to the disadvantaged. Protecting the public’s welfare remains one of the Association’s highest priorities.
