Wilmer Gonzalez Colina is a legal professional with extensive experience in promoting judicial independence and addressing corruption in Latin America. Currently serving as a Program Advisor for the Institutional Integrity Program at the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, Wilmer focuses on international human rights litigation. Previous roles include externship at ArentFox Schiff, legal assistant positions at CFC Capital S.A. and Labbé & Cía. Abogados, where Wilmer played a key role in implementing a computer system for processing mortgage contracts. Earlier experience includes serving as an attorney at CODHEZ, a civil society organization dedicated to human rights. Wilmer holds a Master of Laws in International Law and Justice from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad Rafael Urdaneta.

The City Bar Center for CLE provides continuing legal education for lawyers. The City Bar Justice Center provides pro bono legal services to the disadvantaged. Protecting the public’s welfare remains one of the Association’s highest priorities.
