Dawn Smalls

Dawn Smalls is a Partner at Jenner & Block, a position held since February 2020, and serves as a Board Member for the New York City Campaign Finance Board and the Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture. Additionally, Dawn is a Board Member of the Roosevelt Institute and has held the role of Partner at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP from December 2014 to February 2020. Previous experience includes serving as National Board Member for the American Constitution Society and as a candidate for the Office of The Public Advocate in 2019. Dawn's earlier roles include Director of Democratic Participation at the Ford Foundation and Executive Secretary at the US Department of Health and Human Services. Dawn's political experience also encompasses serving as New York Political Director for Obama for America in 2008. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Boston University.
