Richard Witten

Richard Witten serves as the Senior Managing Director at The Orienta Group, an investment advisory firm, since January 2002. In addition, Richard founded Columbia Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Design in December 2012, where responsibilities include fostering innovation within Columbia University. Richard holds various leadership roles, including Vice Chair of the Board of Advisors at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Co-Chair of the Cancer Advisory Council at the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center. With experience as a Senior Advisor to the President of Columbia University and key positions in multiple organizations, Richard contributes significantly to the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation. Richard obtained a JD from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University.
