Seth Laidlaw

Seth Laidlaw is an accomplished arts management professional with extensive experience in education and community engagement within the performing arts sector. Currently serving as the Director of Planning & Operations for Education & Community Engagement at New York City Center since January 2023, Seth previously held the role of Director of Education & Community Engagement at Appell Center for the Performing Arts, where significant initiatives included overseeing a student matinee program serving 10,000 students. Additionally, Seth's prior positions at The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust involved managing various educational programs and large grant-funded initiatives that fostered musical theater in schools. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts from Duquesne University, complemented by an Executive Program in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania.
