Jamala Wallace is a seasoned researcher and data manager with extensive experience in public policy and social justice. Currently serving as the Senior Research Practice Coordinator at the New York City Criminal Justice Agency since November 2021, Jamala has previously held positions such as Mental Health Project Researcher at the Urban Justice Center and Researcher at One Fair Wage. With a strong background in policy research, data management, and advocacy, Jamala has contributed to various projects, including labor research reports and community development initiatives. Jamala holds a Master’s Degree in Public and Urban Policy from The New School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Saint Louis University.
