Monserate' Fernandez has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Monserate' started their career at Medical Account Solutions in 2000, where they worked as the Technology Operations Support, handling software applications, help desk support, and collaborating with different departments. Monserate' was then promoted to the role of Information Technology Initiatives Manager, where they were responsible for advancing the company's market position through technology, leading to a 25% increase in revenue.

In 2006, Monserate' joined the New York City Independent Budget Office as the Management Information Systems Director and Chief Information Officer.
