NYC School Construction Authority (SCA)
Robert Sanft began their work experience as an Assistant District Manager at Brooklyn Community Board 6 in 1997. Robert then went on to work at the Office of the Brooklyn Borough President, first as a Senior Assistant to the Deputy Borough President and later as a Deputy Press Secretary. In 2002, they joined the NYC Department of Education, where they held several roles including Associate Education Analyst, Director of the Public School Choice Program, Chief Operating Officer of the Office of Student Enrollment Planning and Operations, Chief Operating Officer of the Division of Portfolio Planning, and Chief Executive Officer of Student Enrollment. In 2017, Sanft joined the NYC School Construction Authority as the Senior Director of Operations, and they are currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer there.
Robert Sanft earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Binghamton University. Robert later pursued their Master's of Urban Planning at the NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
