Camara Stokes H. is a legal professional with a focus on racial justice and education policy, currently serving as Racial Justice Counsel and Education Counsel at the New York Civil Liberties Union since January 2022. Previously, Camara held positions as a Research Assistant at the ACLU, where support was provided to Professor Deborah Archer, and worked with the Suspension Representation Project as a 3L Advisor, Student Advocate, and Co-Director. Camara earned a Doctor of Law degree from New York University School of Law in 2022 and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Vermont in 2016.
