Emma Curran Donnelly Hulse is a skilled legal professional with extensive experience in civil rights and educational justice. Currently serving as a Skadden Fellow at the New York Civil Liberties Union since March 2023, Emma has previously held significant roles including Judicial Law Clerk for the Southern District of New York and the New York Court of Appeals. With a strong foundation in advocacy, Emma's experience includes organizing parent-led educational initiatives and campaigns aimed at improving school quality in New York City and conducting research on indigenous rights in Guatemala as a Fulbright Fellow. Emma holds a Doctor of Law from the University of California, Los Angeles, along with a Master's in Latin American Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Columbia University.
