Susan Letourneau is a seasoned researcher with a focus on STEM learning in early childhood and the intersection of play and educational design. Currently serving as a Research Associate at the New York Hall of Science since August 2017, Susan has conducted extensive research on inclusive exhibit design and family experiences in Maker Spaces. Prior roles include serving as a Research and Evaluation Specialist at Providence Children's Museum and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brown University, where Susan led evaluations and research projects related to children's learning and exploration. Additional experience includes positions at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, the Boston Museum of Science, UMass Medical School, and Brandeis University, along with academic training culminating in a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from Brandeis University.
