Gina Modero

Gina C. Modero serves as a Reference Librarian for Printed Collections at the New-York Historical Society, a position reinstated in August 2021 after a temporary elimination due to budget cuts. Prior to this role, Gina worked as a Freelance Researcher for The Narrative Trust and as a Sales Associate at Westsider Rare and Used Books. Previous experience includes two tenures at the New-York Historical Society and various positions at New York University, including Graduate Student Assistant at the Fales Library & Special Collections. Educational achievements encompass a Master of Arts in Humanities/Humanistic Studies and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science, supplemented by a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Muhlenberg College. Gina's expertise lies in research assistance, collection management, and promoting access to rare and historical resources.
