Brian Harper serves as the Vice President of Access and Community Engagement and Chief Medical Officer at the New York Institute of Technology since January 2020. In addition, Brian has held roles as Vice President of Equity and Inclusion, and as Chief Medical Officer and Associate Professor at the New York Institute of Technology Academic Health Center since September 2012. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer and Medical Director at the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention from June 2007 to April 2012, and Commissioner of Health at the Suffolk County Department of Health from June 2004 to October 2006. Brian began a career at Nassau University Medical Center as Senior Vice President of Community Affairs and Medical Director of Community Health Centers from January 2000 to February 2004. Educational qualifications include a DEI Certificate from Cornell University, a Masters of Public Health from Columbia University, a Medical Degree from SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Brown University.
