Mackenzie Swenson

Mackenzie Swenson is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at Belmont Park Village since May 2024. Previously, Mackenzie held the role of Vice President, Senior Counsel for the New York Islanders while also providing counsel for UBS Arena starting in February 2020. Prior experience includes Associate Counsel positions with the San Jose Sharks and SAP Center at San Jose from January 2018 to February 2020, and an Associate role at Jackson Lewis P.C. from June 2016 to December 2017. Mackenzie's legal career began with internships at BSE Global and the National Hockey League's legal department, complemented by a legal clerkship with the City of New York Office of Labor Relations. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sports Management from Columbia University, a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Boston College.
