Bobby Dougherty began their career in 2012 as a Productions Intern at MLB Network. Bobby rotated between three production departments, providing assistance during production meetings and cutting and editing basic video segments for televised broadcasts. Bobby completed their internship with an end of internship editing project.

In 2013, they began working as an Associate Producer at Major League Baseball. Bobby was responsible for producing player breakdown elements working with former players and editing fixes at the conclusion of daily shows. Bobby also turned around live video working with EVS operators and wrote up scripts to execute breaking news updates.

In August 2019, they began working as a Tape Assistant Director during Home games for the New York Jets. Bobby communicated between Producer and Editors to deliver in-game tapes and worked with Tape Operators to signal file locations to play video packages.

Bobby Dougherty graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

They work with John Pullano - Editorial Contributor, AJ Favorito - Seasonal Producer & Editor, and Austin Seabolt - Associate Producer, Feature Programming. Their manager is Eric Allen, Senior Director, News Strategy & Reporter.
