Jared Winley

VP, Communications at New York Jets

Jared Winley is in his 23rd year with the New York Jets, and third as the team's vice president, of communications. In his role, Winley works closely with the team's senior vice president, communications, and content in developing long-term and short-term strategies to best position the New York Jets. Additionally, he directs the team's corporate and football communications efforts, while serving as the organization's primary media liaison.

Prior to his appointment as vice president, Winley most recently served as the senior director, of public and media relations preparing the general manager, head coach and players for interviews, managing all NFL broadcast partner relationships and executing special projects including the communications plan surrounding the opening of the MetLife Stadium and coordinating the team's involvement in the induction of several Jets pro bowlers Hall of Famers including Curtis Martin and Kevin Mawae.

Winley is one of the original members of the team's Social Justice, Diversity and Inclusion Team (SJDIT), with all members serving one-year terms. The team works with players and staff to develop strategies, relationships and programs to best serve the team and its surrounding community. In December of 2020, the SJDIT identified and partnered with four social justice organizations - All Stars Project, Innocence Project, New York Urban League and Year Up. As part of the partnerships, each organization received $250,000. Additionally, some 300 New York Jets players, coaches, and staff volunteered on over 75 projects with these organizations.
