Robert Mastroddi

ROBERT MASTRODDI, Robert Mastroddi, now in his 19th year with the New York Jets, begins his tenth as vice president, of security & facilities operations. In his role, Mastroddi is responsible for all phases of football and business security as well as facility operations at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center (AHJTC).

In his role, Mastroddi is responsible for security at training camp, and all games and is the direct liaison to local, state and federal law enforcement, as well as the National Football League and MetLife Stadium on all security-related matters. He is also responsible for the analysis and evaluation of the AHJTC infrastructure in order to identify maintenance and renovation issues.

Mastroddi is also a member of the Jets Infectious Disease Emergency Response (IDER) team that oversaw the installation and application of the organization's COVID protocols.

Prior to joining the Jets, Mastroddi served 20 years with the New York Police Department. In 2002, he has designated security liaison for the governor, where he provided and maintained all personal security functions for Governor George Pataki in New York City. From 1999-2002 and subsequent to 9/11, Mastroddi served as director of security and intelligence for the Office of Emergency Management (OEM). At OEM, he was tasked with assisting in the establishment of site security operations for local and federal command centers, where he oversaw the daily operations of a large security detail comprised of law enforcement officers from across the nation. He closely assisted the OEM commissioner with interagency response operations associated with the crash of American Airlines Flight 587 and the anthrax attack on media outlets the same year.
